“I was at the backstage entrance when Olivia Newton-John’s limousine arrived. She got out, looked at me and smiled before going into the Mabee Center. I had given someone two bunches of flowers to give to her which I assume they did. Olivia Newton-John sang many of her hits, and a few songs I’d never heard before, the concert was great! She did several costume changes during the concert and my favorite outfit was her black sequined dress.” – Ronnie H
“I’m sure I saw the Harlem Globetrotters at the Mabee Centre in the early 80s. My first autograph is Robert Paige and I’m pretty sure it’s from Robert Babyface Paige of the Globetrotters. I do remember watching with my jaw on the floor, they were amazing!!! Made me want to play basketball, which I did all through high-school and then coached for a couple of years.” – Diane Aṣekun
“I saw The Bee Gees at the Mabee Center in the late ‘70s with my parents and a family friend. They were wearing their white jumpsuits and the stage came out into the crowd. A great memory more than 40 years later.” – Will Castor
