As the reigning and undisputed King of the
Blues, B.B. King has carved a path that has not only created some
of the greatest music in modern history, but one that has helped define
every major artist on the scene today. Influencing everyone from the
Eric Clapton and Rolling Stones to Jimi Hendrix and U2 (who had a
smash hit duet with King, 1988’s When Love Comes To Town), King
not only changed the face of music, but in the words of Stevie Ray Vaughn,
"He changed what music could be." With such hits as "The Thrill
Is Gone", “You Upset Me Woman”, “How Blue Can
You Get", and “Riding with the King (with Eric Clapton)”,
King, along with his guitar Lucille, has electrified fans for sixty
years. A bluesman, a statesman, and a living legend, B.B. King truly
is the King of the Blues.
