Biography
Daryl Hall and John Oates got their start in the 1970’s after being signed to Atlantic records by Ahmet Ertegan. Recognized by R.I.A.A. in 1987, Hall and Oates still hold the record as the number one selling duo in music history. Hall and Oates known hits are “You Make My Dreams” and “She’s Gone.” Their influence has reached across many different lines.
They even participated in the original production of “We Are the World.” For three years straight in the early 80’s, the duo dominated the AMA’s “Favorite Band, Duo or Group – Pop/Rock.” In 2012, the band celebrated forty years of success and continues to influence music of today.
