Pop-acoustic worship group I AM THEY is announcing plans to headline The Trial & Triumph Tour this fall during the month of September with special guests Dan Bremnes and Elle Limebear. “Earlier this year we embarked on a small headlining run with some of our friends at radio,” says I AM THEY’s Matt Hein. “The shows were a huge success and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to do it again this fall! It is an honor to partner with Compassion and to have Dan Bremnes and Elle Limebear join us this time around. We are super excited for this tour and are really looking forward to hearing more stories of Trial & Triumph from our friends and fans. We hope you can join us!”

WE PILE ROCKS AS ALTARS OF REMEMBRANCE, SET ASIDE CERTAIN DAYS AS SACRED, AND EVEN SHARE COMMUNION MEALS TO RECALL AND REFLECT.OUR FAITH IS BUILT ON REMEMBERING.
I AM THEY, a pop-acoustic worship group, stands as a modern-day altar to the Lord. The members themselves are the testimonial stones – each with their own stories of trial and triumph. Matthew Hein, although having grown up involved in ministry and surrounded by the truth of the gospel, had found himself trapped in an addiction to pornography. From the age of thirteen this was something he had hid successfully, but as a leader in his church and newly engaged to his fiancé Tori, he knew it was time to reveal this inner battle. He confessed this sin to his fiancé, his pastor, and God himself, expecting to lose everything – but the rejection never came. Instead of losing all he had, Matt felt the freedom he had wanted for so long, like he could breathe again. This heavy rock he had carried is now a part of an altar.

Elle Limebear has lived her life between two worlds. As the daughter of Delirious? front man, Martin Smith, Elle has experienced first-hand the thrill of stadiums filled with people while on tour around the world. As a worship leader and youth pastor in Brighton, UK, she is immersed in a close-knit, daily ministry within her community. She grew up seeing the global church and her local church worshipping God simultaneously.
Elle is writing for those well acquainted with the night. She is making music for the generation to come, and these songs will serve as reminders that this same Maker of all the things we see is the very one who created us. We belong to no one and nothing else but Him.

Opting against the usual childhood dreams of becoming an astronaut, putting out fires or pitching in the Major Leagues, singer/songwriter Dan Bremnes was convinced that a future as a drummer would complete him. Or would make his life complete, anyway.
As it turns out, even from a young age, Dan’s instincts were right on target. Unlike most childhood hobbies that are cool today, forgotten tomorrow, drumming was something Dan pursued with fervor. Only 10 when began playing at his local church, Dan considered this opportunity a privilege since he was “probably pretty terrible.”
Nevertheless he remained undaunted, and his love of music only grew stronger. To him, nothing was more exciting than stepping onstage and playing life, whether it was accompanying a visiting Sunday morning worship leader or jamming at a club show while on the road with various artists later on.
