Natalie Maria Cole was born in Los Angeles, California on February 6, 1950. Daughter of famous jazz singer Nat King Cole, Natalie was exposed to music and fame at a young age. A success right out of the gate, Natalie’s music garnered her much attention and many accolades. However, this led to a struggle with drugs and partying. In 1983, Cole entered rehab and that changed her life forever. She was able to get off the drugs and subsequently released the biggest albums of her career, including Unforgettable…With Love which featured a duet with her late father.
Today, Natalie Cole serves as a spokeswoman for the University Kidney Research Organization and Tune In To Hep C.
