Biography
David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash named their group after their surnames. Crosby, Stills, and Nash played their very first show concert together as a band during the history Woodstock festival. Their first, self titled album was released in 1969 and is one of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Each member has also been inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame-once for Crosby, Stills, and Nash and a second time for their work in The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies, respectively. They have also been inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame as a group and also each on an individual basis. The group has now been together more than forty years and is still touring the country.
