Biography
Huey Lewis was born in New York City, New York on July 5, 1950. When he was 4 years old, Lewis moved to Marin County, California. At age 13, he moved back east to a boarding school in New Jersey where he picked up the harmonica. After graduating from high school and dropping out of Cornell, Huey Lewis moved back to California and joined a country-rock band.
In 1977, Huey assembled “The News” with Johnny, Bill, Sean, Chris, and Mario. “Huey Lewis and The News” released their first record in 1980. Recently, Huey has guest starred on many different TV shows including “Hot in Cleveland” and “Celebrity Apprentice.”
